This is a mask made by leather which is completely handmade , according to the artisanal techniques of the ancient " maschereri " , the great mask craftmen.
We create our masks only using the best leather which comes from Tuscany ; the uniquestioned millenary capital in the tanning of the leather.
It's painted using appropriate colours which dye the leather and It's polished up using natural wax to give it the brightness.
There is inside our certificate of guarantee and exclusivity.
It is realized with a material which makes it extremely comfortable and suitable to be worn thanks to the straps that you can easily adapt.
It's also appropiated as ornament to give a touch of fantasy to your rooms.

STORY :
Giangurgolo is a Calabrian mask of the commedia dell'arte. According to some scholars, his name derives from Gianni Boccalarga or Gianni Golapiena, thus immediately characterizing his peculiarities: a person of much talk, of great greed and hunger. Giangurgolo, has the appearance of a rich, braggart and arrogant squire like someone who demands respect without giving it back from the humblest people. He is always hungry and greedy for food, willing to do anything to grab something to satisfy himself, even at the cost of stealing. In his approach to women he manages to put aside his grotesque sides by showing off a baroque, contrived erudition, but always ending up derided and mocked especially because of his physical appearance. Conventionally, he wears a red mask embellished with a cardboard nose on his face, a cone-shaped hat on his head, a curled Spanish collar, a red and yellow striped bodice, always red and yellow trousers up to the knee, socks white and a belt hanging from a long sword that he uses repeatedly with those who are weaker but which remains regularly dangling in front of those who could play them.
